Information is powerful in this day and age. Modern plants utilize Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Software to aggregate data and provides a single pointto monitor complete boilerplant operations. Robust reports detailing fuel, water and steam consumption are standard with NeXgen SCADA and can be fully automated to send the report via email to anyone.
NeXgen SCADA utilizes industry leading software Proficy HMI/SCADA iFIX (Intellution) Automation Software. This software utilizes open, industry standard, proven technologies including Windows, OPC and ActiveX coupled with the ability to communicate with a wide range of controllers and PLCs. Proficy iFIX supports hundreds of communication protocols that can be used for efficient transfer of information to the computer from a wide variety of controllers, PLCs and microprocessors. This open communication architecture provides the ability to connect best in class control systems from various manufacturers into a seamlessly integrated central monitoring and control system.
ABLE Company has been our boiler plant service company for over 6 years and has been one of our more reliable service vendors. They were instrumental in keeping our 60+ year-old Plant operating efficiently and within emissions parameters. We recently completed a complete wall to wall plant modernization including 5 new 40k-Lbs./hour High Pressure Water-tube boilers, along with replacement of all boiler support systems. ABLE supplied the BMS, CCS, Balance of Plant (BOP), and SCADA systems, and was an integral part of the success of this project. We also count on ABLE’s 24/7 emergency service to assure our plant remains operational. We recommend ABLE Company to be involved in any boiler plant controls system project.
At ABLE Company, we encourage our team to be observant, agile, and ready to respond to any situation. The coronavirus pandemic tests these intentions and ideals like never before, but as we navigate these unprecedented circumstances, our top priority – and responsibility – is the health and safety of our employees, customers, teammates, vendors, and the public at large. While we remain open for business, staff who are able to work remotely have been empowered to do so, equipped with all technologies available for continued collaboration and production.
To meet your needs and minimize disruption to your projects and operations, we offer flexible communication and virtual-meeting methods. Consistent with current government guidance, social distancing is directed for any unavoidable on-site or in-person engagements.
