 Design and Engineering Services
A.B.L.E. Company provides complete CAD-based design and engineering
solutions to major government, corporate and institutional clients in the
following areas:
- Coordinating watertube and
firetube boiler installations and upgrades, along with related support
systems including deaerators, economisers and additional heat recovery
equipment.
- Designing and evaluating custody
transfer fuel metering and leak detection systems to meet federal and state
regulations.
- Developing combustion, burner
management and process control logic designs that meet or exceed ANSI, IEEE,
ISA and NFPA standards.
- Providing full system and network
integration with other site utilities including HVAC, chilled water and power
cogeneration operations.
- Conducting general engineering
studies on site operating efficiencies, equipment cost-benefit analysis and
safety-related (e.g., NFPA compliance) issues; a licensed CT state Professional
Engineer is on staff.
- Developing federal and state
regulatory compliance programs designed to meet current safety and
environmental protection laws.
- Developing operation & maintenance
procedures and manuals; generating site engineering documentation and
drawings; and conducting formal operator training programs.
All documentation and drawings can be
provided in both printed and electronic formats - including AutoCad, Microsoft
Word, and any other client requested format.

 Burner Management and Flame Safety
Systems
To meet all your needs, A.B.L.E. Company can draw on its significant
design, fabrication and configuration experience with burner management and
flame safety systems. We currently supply:
- Pre-programmed microprocessor
(Honeywell or Fireye type) and programmable logic controller (PLC) based burner
management and flame safety systems.

 Combustion Control Systems
A.B.L.E. Company is a well recognized leader in providing cost
effective combustion control solutions at the following levels:
- Fully-metered, cross-limited systems with
oxygen (i.e., excess air) trim for the ultimate level of control
accuracy and optimum boiler efficiency.
- Parallel-positioned, cross-limited systems
with oxygen trim for improved boiler efficiency at a moderate cost.
- Single point, jackshaft-type positioning
systems to meet tight capital expenditure requirements on smaller steam
and hot water generators.
In addition, A.B.L.E.
Company has had extensive design and field experience with all of the
leading microprocessor-based single loop, multiple loop and programmable
logic (PLC) controllers available on the market including:

Our combustion control design solutions
range from simple, single point controls—as mentioned above—to
fully-metered, PLC-based, distributed control networks with state-of-the-art
TFT or CRT flat panel human-to-machine interfaces (HMI) and keypad or touch
screen inputs.
